With over 20 years experience as hearing aid specialists, we’ve helped thousands of families all
over Auckland achieve better hearing.
We are a family-run business started in 1999 by sisters Trish O’Sullivan and Clare McNeill.
We realised many people were unable to afford the high cost of hearing aids, so we started A1
Hearing to provide cost-effective hearing solutions.
From small beginnings, our business has grown, and we now have clinics in Dominion Rd, Mt Eden and Wallace Rd, Papatoetoe.
Remaining true to our initial vision, we provide affordable, high-quality hearing care. By taking your needs and budget into account, our personal approach ensures you get the right solution for you. One that could connect you with life!
Meet The Team at A1 Hearing
CLARE MCNEILL
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Clare has been the driving force behind the implementation, set up and management of the new clinics in Wallace Rd, Papatoetoe and Dominion Rd, Mt Eden.
When Clare is not in her Management role she will be connecting with the patients, repairing aids or completing her study for the Hearing Care professional course.

Tahmina has been an audiologist for over 9 years, including overseas experience in both private and public Audiology in the UK.
Tahmina embraces diversity and is passionate about providing personalised solutions for her clients.

With 15 years of diverse experience in the healthcare sector, I am a registered nurse dedicated to improving ear health. My background spans in Age Care, Emergency Department, and Community Care, offering me a comprehensive understanding of patient needs. Having obtained my certificate in ear microsuctioning, I am committed to bridging the gap in ear health services. I have witnessed firsthand the importance of experienced nurses in this field. Now, I aim to merge my expertise to deliver a compassionate and holistic approach to our clients.
